WPC Fluted Panels: Beauty, Strength & Customization

Because of their numerous pre-finished colors, painting WPC fluted panels may not be needed. However, if a color change is desired, the panels must be cleaned thoroughly first to eliminate any dirt, grease, or dust. A plastic or composite primer must be applied for good adhesion. Then, after the primer dries, your chosen color can be applied in thin, even coats. A good option is often an acrylic-based paint. Be aware that the texture of the fluted pattern will be altered—possibly permanently—without the ability to revert it voiding any existing warranties. For that reason, it is best to test on an inconspicuous spot beforehand.
